Whenever i try to do something in the UI it takes around a second to happen, like scrolling or opening a task to view. I have around 1000 tasks with 700 completed spread over a dozen projects. Is it the amount of tasks or why does it seem so slow suddenly?

It was because of an adblock extension in chrome (ublock origin). Speed has been fine now after disabling it for quire. Thing is i've never noticed slowdowns in any other site except this one, maybe take a look at this since there's quite a lot of people using such adblocking software. Would be unfortunate if this kind of performance gets blamed on quire.
