#5272: Quire Feedback
Status: To-do

Chrome, Edge browsers - no smooth scrolling in Quire. Please add this feature!

Hi @glebsam, Thank you for bringing up this idea! Could you tell me which UI you'd like to enable smooth scrolling for? For instance, you want to enable smooth scrolling after clicking a search result and scrolling to a task.

You can always share with us your ideas on how Quire could enhance our scrolling performance.

This way, our Product Team will better understand your idea and discuss it further.

Hi @glebsam, Thank you for getting back to me. I will bring your feedback to our Product Team for further consideration, and I'll notify you when something comes up!

I am not sure what you asking me exactly, but on the provided link I'd prefer scroll-behavior: smooth; over scroll-behavior: auto;, but only if it will not lead to choppy experience (i.e. performance issues). Otherwise I believe auto will be better. Currently I don't see even 'auto'-like behavior on lists in Quire.

I'd like to see the smooth scrolling in tasks list (tree, kanban)

Hi @glebsam, Could you please give an example of the smooth scrolling behavior you would like to see? I provide you with a CSS link here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/scroll-behavior.

Hi @glebsam, I've escalated your feedback to our team to look further into this for you. Since the performance may differ among different devices and OS, there may be a slight delay, but I will make sure to be in touch as soon as I have updates from our team.

Thank you for understanding.
