We've all had that experience setting up a new software product when an hour into the setup you find out the software is missing a function that you don't have to have but which, if we are honest with ourselves, we really want.
And we want the function enough that we won't use the new software.
We will move on and try something else.
The list of features users want for this task software is without doubt incredibly long.
For me, the missing feature that will cause me to soon fall out of love with this software, whose name I don't remember yet, is the missing ability to repeat a task daily.
I forget things. Helping me remember is the main purpose of this software.
However, the software—even the paid version—can't help me remember if a specific task happens every day.
These daily tasks could be anything, like "open the rear vent for 30 minutes," "test pH of water in new unit," "take medication," "give medication," "take today's selfie," "load paper," "check for package from India," or many other things that need to be done daily.
Daily task reminders are especially useful when a daily task is new to my routine.
I can put separate reminders in my calendar software, but then these necessary tasks are totally disconnected from the different projects to which they belong.
This disconnection makes it harder to integrate new tasks into my daily behavior.
If I'm trying to remember to daily start forwarding certain kinds of emails to another team leader, I need to perform that activity while I'm in the middle of related tasks so that the activity is connected to other very similar actions.
This connection helps give context to the new task I am trying to integrate into my routine.
I would love it if this software was able to create daiIy-repeating tasks.

Hi Marc, thank you for your feedback. We don't have an option to set a task to recur 'daily'. However, you can set the task to recur weekly and select every single day as a workaround. I hope this helps.
Nonetheless, I will pass your user experience to our team and if we have any updates/enhancements in the future, I will make sure to let you know. Thank you again.

The workaround is incredibly helpful. Thank you.
