#528: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed

Hey there @crystal, sorry. I assumed someone in your team spoke German.

So here's the deal: While Quire looks like quire1.PNG, I'd like it to look more like quire2.png.

The way it is now, it's hard to see how far I've gotten in a subtree, because the checkboxes are not indented, same with priorities. Also, it's sometimes hard to see which items are still indented and where the subtree ends. Something like quire3.png would help aswell.

My second suggestion was for "parenttasks" to have the same priority as the highest priority of it's subtask, so if you've got

normal ..normal ..normal ....high normal low ..high

it would change to high ..normal ..high ....high normal high ..high

Do you understand what I mean?

Thank you for taking the time.

Christopher

Hi Christopher, Yes, I understand you perfectly. 😃 Regarding your first suggestion, I see where you are coming from. Vertical lines (quire3.png) sounds like a good idea and something we could do. As for your second suggestion, I believe you are speaking of “inheritance” in general, aka have a task inherit the status (or attribute) of its subtask and vice versa. Please let us think further about this one.

Hi Christopher, Please excuse me for not knowing German. Did you mean it is not easy to tell what subtasks belong to what task when the task list is long? Unfortunately, Google Translate did not help much. 😞 A little bit more explanation (best with screenshots) would be much appreciated. Thanks!
