Would be nice if Quire can like other platforms auto fetch <title> of URL-only tasks to use it with markdown. They used to do it a moment after task is saved.
While it is not that hard from web to just copy both to do some url, it may be too time consuming from mobile.
Hi Grox, thank you for your feedback, however, I'm slightly confused about what you are looking for. I just want to make sure that we are on the same page before I pass your request on to our team. Could you please kindly share an example with me?
At the moment, when you paste a text that includes a URL, it will automatically turn into a link with a markdown in the task title or description.

Was supposed to be visible for everyone as well, seems mobile doesn't ask for it when adding from "My feedback"

Hi Grox, thanks for explaining! Actually, only the Quire URL will be rendered specifically. For URLs copied from other places, we won't specifically process them and return them to their titles. Nonetheless, I will let our team know about this request and keep you posted if we have any updates!

Yes. You paste URL to website in task title, and after a moment it gets converted into Title of website
Just like Quire URLs in comments

Hello @peggy Are there any updates to it? I lose a lot of time while adding tasks that are just link to forums/other places that fully describe task itself.

Hello @peggy
I mean that while pasting https://quire.io/w/Quire_Feedback/, it would fetch it's <title> and edit into Quire Feedback

Actually it does what I mean in comment. But not in task title.

Hi Grox, I'm afraid that I don't have good news about this. I will mention this feedback again in our meeting and hopefully spark some discussion.
Since it's been a while for this feedback, just to make sure that I don't explain your request wrong to our team: are you looking for a way to copy the URL from other websites into a Quire task name, and you hope that Quire can automatically turn the URL into the title of the site? And when you click on the copied title, it will take you to that URL. Am I correct? Thank you for confirming in advance. ðŸ˜
