Is there a way to retain comments on repeating tasks when they are completed?
Yes it would be helpful, or helpful if we could choose which carried over the comments and which didn't. Sometimes I put important notes in comments, but I guess you have work arounds.

Hi Alien Isotope,
In the latest version update, for the new recurring tasks, you will now find a link called Show comments from previous recurring tasks. Click on the link then it will expand to show all the comments from the previous tasks. I hope this helps with what you were looking for.

Hi Alien Isotope, thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, I am afraid that for the new recurring tasks, we view them as a brand new tasks, that's why the comments won't be carried over.
You may click the "Activity log" in the detail panel to trace back to the previous task and see the old comments there.
I understand that this may not be ideal, other users have also brought up similar requests before and were brought into discussion. The team is considering to have a link to all the previous comments for all the recurring tasks. What do you think about this idea? Would it be helpful? Please let us know your thoughts. If we have any updates regarding this, I will keep you posted asap!
