#5368: Quire Feedback
Status: To-do

Is this something that can be fixed? When I try to sort by due date it also includes tasks with no due date and only a start date. Filters seems to recognize any date as a due date...

Hi @Alien_Isotope, When you Sort by Due, the tasks that have no due date will be sorted with their start date. And when you Sort by Start Date, the tasks that have no start date will be sorted with their due date.

Hope this helps.

It doesn’t help as this is just incorrect, they shouldn’t be included together as a start date and due date are two different things.. this is an error that should be fixed

Hi @Alien_Isotope, I have an update for you regarding the Sort options. When you hover to More, you will see Sort by Start Date and Due Date.

Sort by Start Date will reorder according to the task's start date. If the tasks only have a due date or no date, they will be reordered to the bottom list.

The same thing for Sort by Due Date, it will reorder according to the task's due date. If the tasks have a start date or no date, they will be reordered to the bottom list. The reason is that the main purpose of the Sort option is to reorder the tasks, and it will not filter out tasks.

Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you.

What is the point of having two different dates if they are treated like the same thing…

Due and start dates aren’t the same, if you asked anyone off the street they would tell you
