#545: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed

Hi Quire Team. I want to write a series of tasks that I can replicate within Quire for a number of different clients.

I would like to personalise the discription text for each task so that the company name appears in the text where I put a merge tag. E.g <company name>.

E.g. I write, 'Everyone in <companyname> needs to join the brainstorming for this task'.

And if the task was under an organisation in Quire called Xzylon Corp, the text would read, 'Everyone in Xzylon Corp needs to join the brainstorming for this task'.

If the task was under an organisation called ZaaZoo Partnership, the text would read, 'Everyone in ZaaZoo Partnership needs to join the brainstorming for this task'.

Is this possible now? I rather think not from my look around.

Assuming not, might you consider it as a future feature? I can see it as a useful addition.

There could also be a call for a 'merge tag' that populated with the task assignees (presumable <assignees> or <assigned to>.) and <assigned by>

I'm sure there could a raft of further options like <due date> <due time> <org address> <org URL> and so on.

As I'm often working with people in different time zones, a tag like <time here now +9>. Then I could write in the task discription text like, 'Ring the Melbourne people during their office hour of 9-5 and right now it's <time here now +10> in Melbourne.'

It would appears '...and right now it's 2.30am In Melbourne.'

I can't think of any other variations right now but I'm interested to hear what you think?

Hi Dave, It is currently not possible. Cool idea though. I'll pass it to the team. 😃

Thanks. Just the date idea may be a great addition.
