I would like to double-check your feedback. Do you mean you would like to see the name of the statuses when you hover over the status from your task list?

I'm afraid we do not have this option. However, you can right-click on the status of your task to see the status names.

In addition, on your project setting, you can tick the option to Always show status options when you click on the status icon. So when you click the status, you can see all the status names. Please navigate to the dropdown menu next to your project name > Options.
