Amazing app, that is almost perfectly what I've been looking for! I considered writing my own app, until I came across yours!
I would love to see you add a "Cost" attribute to tasks, and display the sum of subtasks for any subtasks that have them.
This would make integrating shopping lists as tasks so awesome. I typically have Shopping as the first task of any project, and having a quick total of expected costs would be amazing!
It would look something like this: Build a sailboat ($1230) Shopping ($1230) Lumber ($1000) Hardware ($230) Build the boat Set up work area Do some other stuff Do some more stuff Go Sailing!

I would re-use tags mechanics. Just add an ability for adding values: Task 1 - Tag1:Value1 Task 2 - Tag1:Value2 So, each tag works as a custom field. The cherry on top of the cake: when filtered by such tag, show (Value1+Value2) as a label on top menu bar.

Good idea, but I would go for a more general approach so that we could sum durations, space-requirements, people, or anything else we desire.
