When Drag and Dropping 18 MB pdf file to Attachments, progress bar fills almost instantly. But file keeps uploading. That's one thing that might be improved.
Another is that there is no block for switching tasks while still uploading file (like it was added for images), so if you switch between and they are still uploading, upload process will disappear at all, but file will actually upload. But it caused to load one file twice, since I thought it interrupted at all while switching.

The progress bar is essentially provided by the browser event. The browsers that we currently support are Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
Perhaps you can try again in one of these browsers and let me know if the same issue occurs.

Our team has fixed this issue. When you upload a file and switch to another task, we will not block it. However, when you switch back, the attachment will be shown. Please refresh your Quire page and try again.

But until then, it feels like transfer just got abandoned. Which is especially misleading with larger files.

- Opera GX LVL4 (core: 90.0.4480.78)
- No really other browsers here. And I guess testing on Edge makes no sense.
Tested it on data center server which has 2175.36 Mb/s upload in comparison to my sad 21.69 Mb/s. Here file appears almost immediately after progress bar is filled, so I can't even switch between tasks in this time. Also switching there even during progress bar upload is fine as well.
However, today it is also different for me.
It will just stay in such state after progress bar is gone immediately. Then after 40+ seconds (used bigger file now) it will be here, just without progress and not clickable until it is fully uploaded. Then it is already better than other days.
Possible issues I can image are:
- I tested it in early evening when my internet is even more weak. Have to play one year more with it as of no other possibilities ðŸ˜
- It was in both cases probably after quire was opened in pinned tab after 10h+ of opened browser. It used to do already weird issues in other things as well like reported in other tasks.
