Hi. I am very reliant on task ID numbers. They are extremely helpful - but. Why do I have to press Ctrl to view them all the time? Why hide the IDs? And the worst of all, the preference resets after some time and I have to make them visible AGAIN.
Just remove the toggle and always display the IDs.

We have received different opinions from our users about task IDs in the past and we can tell you that the opinions are very polarized, some users think that the IDs are distracting and some users find them super useful such as yourself. That's why we are pretty hesitant to let the IDs always show. We will send your feedback to our team internally again and mention your suggestion about adding an option to let the IDs always show. Hi @martenfur, Currently, the task ID will be shown if you toggle on the Advanced Mode by pressing the Ctrl. Regarding the Advanced mode, we received various feedback. Some users want to always show the task ID and some users don't. We are considering making improvements. However, we are not able to give you the exact date of when it will be implemented. Thank you.

Hi @peggy , I already understand that and that is why I quoted my commented, it wasn't about task itself. In some other place you or Golda said you can add option to have perma advanced mode (so Ctrl is not switching itit)

@peggy The problem is that the current implementation is buggy and obscured. Instead of Ctrl (which doesn't even work half the time) or an option buried under a mountain of menus add the task id toggle button to the board view. Or at least somewhere where it's easily accessible. Maybe add a dialog that asks new users if they want the task ids to show up or not. And for the love of god, make it consistent so that it doesn't reset randomly.

And honestly, task ids should be visible by default, with the option to remove them. I bet people who scream about it cluttering the view won't even notice it being added, or will just get used to it in a day. It's quite essential to have this information right there.

Hi @Raisag Are there any updates to it maybe? Not sure if it was main place of discussion, but once you mentioned you want do it. Lately I am getting switched mistakely by Ctrl even up to 15 times (in one way) per day. Really annoying...
