Hi @tilusnet, I'm sorry, but I couldn't reproduce it 😭. To help you troubleshoot further, could you please let me know the reproduction steps from your end? Additional screenshots or a screen recording will also be helpful. Thank you very much.

Steps:

  1. Create a note on Android
  2. Add a picture to it by taking a photo with your phone's camera
  • Picture looks okay on the phone.
  1. Go to your web account and check the note with the picture
  • The picture is missing as in my screenshot.

Hi @tilusnet, I want to confirm with you. Did you connect to the internet when you uploaded an image from the mobile app?

When uploading an image from the mobile app, the image cannot upload to the server when you are in offline mode or the image is still uploading. The image will render on the web when the upload is completed.

Hi,

I guess I was online, but it should be irrelevant:

Quire must take care of syncing artifacts like images whenever it is able to get online. Just as note content (text) got synced, so should attachments, images, etc.

Hi @tilusnet, When you upload an image from the mobile app, it will take some time to upload, even when you are online. If you upload an image and close the Quire app, the upload will stop.

We will save the task description first, then save the embedded image. The image will be ready when the upload is completed.

Thanks for explaining it. So it sounds like Quire has got a sketchy implementation that needs fixing. Please keep me posted.
