Quire - Android App: Unable to add start/end dates when entering task

On the Android App.... When entering a new task. Click on the calendar button, select a start and end date. This used to enter the text <startdate/enddate> on the subject line. Now it just enters "<" character and no dates. Have to enter the task first and then edit the date.
