#5819: Quire Feedback
Status: To-do

Hi there, I was looking to group tasks in Kanban view using the second level of sublists instead of first. I have R&D, admin, marketing, etc. tasks grouped by a first sublist level, then R&D is split in sections at a second level. I have all my R&D tasks in a kanban board where I was looking to group them by second level sublists like GUI, CAD, Firmware, Software, Elctronics.

Just some feedback. Regards, David

Hi, I'm sorry, but I don't fully understand your questions. Are you referring that you would like to have your first-level tasks displayed in one column and the second-level tasks in a second column in the Board view?

To help us better understand your request, it would be helpful if you could share some screenshots of the task structure you have in mind. This will help our team better understand your feedback. If you will be sharing sensitive data, we would suggest you reply to our email feedback@quire.io. Thank you.

Hi, I actually mixed sublists and subtasks. So I think what I was looking for is to group by subtask level 2.

I have my list divided into sections, then some sections have different main topics which I would like to group by. Here my section 2 has all R&D tasks, so I created a sublist with only R&D and would like to group it by what is now the 2nd level of subtask. image.png

I did it with tags to get the same effect and here is what I was looking for: image.png

I basically end-up diving level 1 subtasks by creating sublists, then would like to divide by subtasks level 2 with the Kanban group feature.

Thanks, David
