I understand the need to create a default username. However, I do not think you should capitalise the first character. Really not needed.
Hi Thomas, Not exactly sure what you meant. We do not capitalize the first letter of "user's username (ID)."
Or perhaps you mean the first letter of "user's name"? Note that you can change it by clicking on the "pen" (edit) icon of your profile page.

Hi! Thanks for the reply. This is a very minor detail but as you are developing this I thought I would just comment. What happened was that when I first entered the system (which by the way was a fantastically smooth process), the system stripped the first characters from my email address (tah) and then capitalised to (Tah) as a user name. As you say, this is easy to change afterwards but I think leaving it as is would have been better (tah).
