#5841: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed
Tag: Feature Request Resolved

Hi. I have been using the free version for a long time. Great to see you making money out of it. And thanks for keeping it free for little guys like us.

Quire exceeds my expectations in every way except notifications. What I would like to see is fairly simple I think:

  1. I don't want to see notifications that I have already read. The read status of the notification changes when i visit the task but the notification remains in the list.

  2. I dont think there is any way to hide notifications that I have already read. I go through and delete them one by one... sometimes. The simplest way to implement this is to add an extra 'tab' next to 'Deleted' in the notifications dropdown that says 'Unread'.

  3. Would it be possible to give notifications their own left sidebar option, maybe in Recent. The current notification list would show in the middle panel where the task list normally is. Then i could click on the notification and see the task details in the task panel on the right. I feel like that is a more helpful workflow for me - the popdown list is nice for quick access but not nice to work from.

Thanks. Andrew

My way of solving this has been to create filters on all my projects which show only unread tasks. This is essentially the notification list. But it requires that I go into every project (with an orange dot) and change the filter. It works but it is not 'Quire' beautiful.
