Do not add link to previous task when completing recurring tasks

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. Currently, there isn't an option to toggle off the link to the previous recurring task when creating a new one. As a workaround, you can manually delete the link if you prefer not to have it.

Could you kindly provide some insight into why you would like to disable this feature? I'll pass your feedback along to our team so they can better understand your perspective and consider it for future improvements. Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. There are 2 situations in which this feature interferes with my personal use.

• One of them is when I'm reviewing tasks, and they have a description associated with them. It's not possible to tell when it's a relevant description that I've previously entered, or if it's just the information from the previous linked task.
• Another situation is when I use the task description to save quick text (message or email templates, hyperlinks, etc.) to copy and paste elsewhere. Whenever I do this, I have to edit the description to remove the text from the linked task, which somewhat interferes with productivity.

Perhaps it would be appropriate to move this information to the comments field, as if it were a system comment, or even in some task change log. In my opinion, placing this information in the description doesn't seem to be the optimal choice.
