When I click "Edit Statuses" for a project, we really need the ability to re-order the list of Statuses via drag & drop.
We need statuses in a certain order for convenience, but when I add a new status it goes last automatically...

Thank you for the info. I understand how it works now, so we can use this workaround to order statuses, but not everyone uses statuses that are percentage based. And not all statuses like Paused, Disqualified, fall within a percentage

The order of status positions is determined by their respective percentage values, from lowest to highest. Please refer to the screenshot I provided below. The 0% status is ranked lowest and appears on the first row, while the 10% status is followed on the next row. The 25% status is displayed in the second row, and so forth.
When a new status is added, its position is determined by its percentage value. As you can see in the screenshot below, the 65% status is automatically placed after the 55% status. If the new status is placed last, it means that its percentage is higher than the existing statuses.
