If I create a recurring task with custom fields that are intended to be completed each time the task occurs, it would be helpful for the custom fields to be cleared out with the new task instance. Currently, the field input carries over to the newly created occurrence.

Hi, I wanted to inform you that you can now clear custom fields for recurring tasks. You will need to toggle this option in the Edit field dialog > Show advance settings > Clear field for duplicated tasks.

BTW, one use case for this functionality is in habit-tracking, for example. If someone wants to look back over 30 days and see how many custom field checkmarks they have for the repeating task instance in a table view, they cannot do that as it stands. Or, if they are tracking their weight in a custom field, or tracking the rankings for an SEO keyword, etc., this functionality would allow for that.
