I have a task set to repeat daily at 10:00 AM. I also have a custom formula field set to calculate the duration between now and a task due date. For the repeating task for today, it is past the due time for today, but it looks like the custom field is calculating the difference between now and tomorrow's due date for the task.
In other words, it should be saying the task is one hour overdue, but it is actually calculating that the task will be due in 23 hours.

@Raisag I believe this may have been resolved by the fix instituted for #6020. I can't reproduce the issue anymore so I think this task can be closed. Thanks!
