#6067: Quire Feedback
Status: To-do

Hello, I'm a little confused whether this is a bug, or intended behavior.

I set a task to repeat daily and I have UNchecked "since last completion".

Today, I completed the yesterday's task, expecting it to appear again for today, but it appeared for tomorrow.

I attempted the same with checking the "since last completion" and the behavior is the same.

Can you please clarify? How do I achieve what I want to?

Hi, When you check the SInce lastest completion option, it will affect the newly generated task's due date based on the date you complete it.

However, the result will be the same if you choose to repeat every 1 day. Therefore, we will disable this option when the repeat interval is set to 1 day.

Additionally, kindly note that by checking or unchecking this option, our system will not generate a due date in the past. Thank you.

Hi, This is the correct behavior for daily recurring tasks. If you complete an overdue daily recurring task, the new task will appear with a future date. In your case, the new task will be due the next day.

However, you can set a specific time for your daily recurring tasks. If you complete a daily recurring task with time before it is overdue, the new task will appear with today's date. For example, if you have a task due yesterday at 3 p.m. and you complete it today by 10 a.m., the new recurring task will be due today at 3 p.m. Thank you.

Could you please clarify what's the meaning of "Since last completion"?
