#6073: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed
Tag: Resolved

Hey! In my case, syncing with Google Calendar is practically useless because, when using Gantt View, I set many tasks with both start and due dates. In Google Calendar, this gets imported as one long event spanning all the days in between. With 3-4 overlapping deadlines in Gantt View, Google Calendar becomes so cluttered that it's hard to read anything. For me, it would be best if only the due date appeared in Google Calendar, or possibly separate events for [start] and [due]. Is it possible to do that? Could you make it happen someday? 😃

Hi, thank you for your feedback. Currently, Google Calendar cannot display only the due date when you have set both start and due dates in your Quire tasks. However, we will forward your feedback to our team for further consideration. We'll keep you posted with any updates in the future.

Hi, We would like to double-check your feedback. Are you referring to separating events when syncing to Google Calendar Sync or Google Calendar Instant Sync? Thank you.

It concerns 'Google Calendar Instant Sync' if that changes anything.

Hi, We have added an option to display only the due date in Google Calendar Instant Sync for tasks that have both start and due dates. When granting access to your project, please select the option to Show the due date as a single date instead of a data range.

Thank you for the quick resolution of the issue. Ideally, it would be perfect to display both the start date and the due date in the calendar, but this solution is sufficient to use the Gantt chart. Thank you.
