It would be nice if we could somehow select what is the default sort/filter for a given view. Currently, I believe the default is "All Tasks" with no group/sort/filter enabled. Would be great if we could set default parameters for each project or sublist.

Are you referring to setting a specific default filter that applies when you switch between projects or sublists? This option is not available at the moment.
However, our system will remember the last filter you applied to each project or sublist.
