Dear Quire Team,
I hope you are doing well. I am writing to share a workflow scenario where we face challenges and would appreciate your guidance or support in implementing a solution.
Current Scenario: • We handle tasks in a single batch workflow up to 70% completion. • However, during the shipping phase, the task needs to be split into multiple sub-tasks based on destination and shipping dates. • Specifically, the packing stage requires splitting to accommodate these variations.
Request: • Is there a way to automatically or easily split tasks into sub-tasks (or sections) at this stage, while maintaining the connection to the original task? • Additionally, we want the progress of the split sub-tasks to contribute back to the original task’s completion percentage for better tracking.
Example Use Case: • A task for packing 100 items progresses to 70%. • During shipping, the task is split into: • Destination A: 50 items, shipping on Date X. • Destination B: 50 items, shipping on Date Y.
Each split task should track its progress separately but remain linked to the original task for visibility.
I’d love to hear your suggestions or any existing features in Quire that can address this need. Thank you for your time and support!

Hi, Based on your scenario, it seems you are requesting an automation feature where tasks can automatically split into subtasks when certain conditions are met, such as reaching a specific status.
Currently, this feature is not available. However, I will share your feedback with our team for further consideration. While we cannot guarantee immediate implementation, we will keep you posted when we have any updates. In the meantime, you will need to manually split tasks into subtasks.
Thank you for sharing your suggestion!
