If you paste a link into the description, it loses focus and you can't keep typing as normal.

Sure,
- Start typing a message and then use ctrl-v to paste a link
- Try to continue typing after the link is pasted, it does not allow you to continue. You have to click back on the editor and it is fiddly to let you continue.
For example, Try copying this link, pasting using ctrl-v, and writing "The link #6267 doesn't allow you to type afterwards". To do the above, I had to paste, then click back on the editor a couple times, then it allowed me to continue typing the rest of the sentence.
