If I start working on an edit to a description, but realise I'm on the wrong track, I have no way to cancel the edit I have in progress and restore the original state.

Hi,

You can now undo changes to the description even after it has been saved. However, this only works if you stay on the same task. Once you switch to another task, the undo option will no longer be available.
