On old editor it was fine, but here with increased gap margin/paddings is quite annoying to have so many empty lines

2 lines after I pasted above

Hi Grox,
This is not a bug. This is our spec for now.

Hi @vickyp I don't like this behaviour, it is pasting a lot of unnecessary lines that I have to delete as they aren't even trimmed on end of description on read mode and it looks ugly. So wasting a lot of time on every task with images. Then I would change it to low priority Enhancenent request

Trimming empty lines on end of desc in read mode would be partially solution, but changing 2 empty lines to 1, since there is ideal margin/padding now, would be better if there are multiple images / text afterwards

Hi,
We're sorry if this does not align with your preference. However, adding two line breaks when pasting images helps reduce line pressure and ensures a smoother typing experience for users. We appreciate your understanding.

Is there some reason why extra blank lines is part of the spec? It might be helpful for us as users to understand what the reasoning is.

It was reasonable in old editor, yes. Now line-height or image bottom margin/padding is increased so there is no need for it anymore. Every line is having enough gap even betwen image and text to look readable

Hi Grox,
Our team will be discussing about this matter and we will take all of your suggestions into considerations. I will keep you posted if we decide to make any changes to this. Thank you very much.
