Implement email or browser notifications for @mentions activity

Currently this is existing, but as setting per-project separately:

Hi Kolja,

You will get both an email notification and a Quire notification when someone mentions you in a task or comment. In your Account Settings, you can adjust how often you want to receive email notifications. Please see the below screenshots for your reference.

Also, in Quire notifications, you can filter your notifications by selecting @ Mentioned me to quickly view tasks or comments where you have been mentioned.

Thanks @golda but this doesn't solve my problem. When I select to get emails for every update (or hourly), I will receive a lot of unrelevant emails about various project updates. I want to only receive emails, when somebody mentions me.

@Kolja settings I showed are in every Project settings, I think they are individual and won't affect others, but not sure

I do not see this option in my settings:

To access this setting, go to your project > click the dropdown menu next to its name > Options > Notifications.

If you choose the Mention me only option, you will receive notifications only when someone mentions you in a comment. However, you will still receive notifications for task updates (such as status changes, tags, or due dates) if you are a follower of that task.

Currently, receiving email notifications only when you are are mentioned is not available.

I'd like to share another way to receive notifications only when someone mentions you in the comment. You can unselect all other options except Mention me only in comments. Please note that this is a project-based setting, so you'll need to adjust it manually for each project.
