When I try to duplicate, all the tasks just get prepended "Copy of". It is a pain to remove the "Copy of" for every item after moving them to another root.
Hi Ambarisha, Yes, it is more about importing. I see what you meant. In other words, you would like to copy (or even cut) & paste tasks in a Quire project. We shall consider it. For now, you can first select the tasks, and drag & drop to move them under a root task. Let me know if this helps.

Yeah, that is a problem. That is why I was saying the "Duplicate" feature is not solving the problem. The problem for me is that I want to copy a list of tasks to another root. Typically I'd expect, I can select the list of task then right click and select "Copy". Then go to the root where I want them copied and right click and select "Paste". But, copy paste seems to work differently. I think it is being used for importing.

Hi Ambarisha, Let’s say you want to duplicate a task called “Write the article.” What do you suggest the new task will be named after duplication?

Hi Ambarisha, Got it. And you are welcome.
Hi Harish, Duly noted.

Yes, the drag and drop feature is cut & paste. I was looking for copy and paste. That is why I was saying duplicate + drag and drop was not helping.
Anyways, thanks for the prompt response.
