Using Ctrl-E to do code markup on text inserts an extra space after the marked-up text.
Hi,
This is not a bug. When you use Ctrl + E to convert text to code, it may appear that there's an extra space after the code. However, the spacing stays the same, it’s just a visual effect from the formatting.
If this isn't what you're looking for, please let me know. Thank you.

You can also see it in your response. Select the white space after Ctrl + E in your response, and you'll see there are two spaces. (I deleted the extra space in this comment.)

Hi,
I understand what you were referring to. However, before converting the text to code, there’s one space between the words, and after converting, that spacing remains the same before the cursor moves into the code. So this behavior is expected.
To make this clear to yourself, select text and press Ctrl-E multiple times in succession to apply and remove code formatting. You'll clearly see the added spaces accumulate as you keep doing this.
About this issue, it has been fixed in our latest update (ver. 1738). Please refresh your workspace and try again. Let us know if you have any questions.

Hi Golda. Thanks for the response. I have to respectfully disagree with your assessment. The extra space is visible in the example video clip you posted, as well. To make this clear to yourself, select text and press Ctrl-E multiple times in succession to apply and remove code formatting. You'll clearly see the added spaces accumulate as you keep doing this.
