#6508: Quire Feedback
Status: To-do
In project management workflows, it would be extremely beneficial to restrict the ability of certain users to create deeply nested subtasks. Uncontrolled task nesting can lead to complexity, fragmentation, and reduced clarity.
From a structural and permission standpoint, we aim to achieve the following:
Admins should have full control to create “node tasks”, including nesting them within other node tasks as needed.
Regular users should be limited to creating only “leaf tasks” — that is, tasks without further subtasks — and only within the predefined node tasks created by admins.
This would help maintain a clean, scalable task hierarchy while empowering contributors to focus on execution rather than structure.
