#6511: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed

Issue with Number Fields via n8n → Quire API Integration

Hi Quire Team,

We’ve successfully connected our MSSQL database to Quire through n8n using HTTPS POST. Text and string fields are posting correctly, but numeric fields are not updating in Quire — the data seems to be executed right but not accepted in number-type fields.

Could you please confirm:

  1. Whether Quire’s API requires a specific format (e.g., Number, Float, String) for numeric field values?

  2. How to ensure these numeric values are parsed and received properly?

Additionally, we’d like to map our MSSQL “id” column directly to the Quire task ID reference field so that data updates existing tasks instead of creating duplicates. Any guidance or best practice for handling this ID cloning or upsert behavior would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your support,
