Hello, I used to use raw markdown in Quire descriptions, but this has since gone away. I can appreciate that many might prefer the rich text, but I would be excellent to have the option to use raw markdown for both writing/pasting and exporting.
Via Quire Android
I work between and Quire and my code editor quite a bit, and use my code editor for documentation in markdown. There are often situations where I am documenting something (To-Do's meeting notes, etc.) in raw markdown, or exporting from AI tools as markdown, and need to include portions of that work in Quire cards. Pasting as raw markdown is very helpful for this. I just learned that I can use Ctl + Shift +V to paste as plain text, and then Quire seems to format correctly from that, so that is a great workaround. In other instances, I need to take To-Do's from Quire and include them in meeting minutes, reports, etc., and copying the raw Markdown is vital for these tasks. I know the software was previously written, so I thought it might be possible to accommodate workflows like mine (and, I'm sure, others), but having a toggle for this option. I realize that it may not be that straightforward, but thought it worth asking.
Thank you very much.

Hi,
Thank you for reaching out. I understand raw Markdown was how you preferred to work, and I appreciate you sharing this.
On writing and pasting: the editor is rich text now, so it doesn't keep raw Markdown, but it does support the commonly used Markdown syntax. When you type or paste it (backticks for code,
[link](URL)for links, - for lists), it converts into the matching formatting. On exporting, could you tell me what you're looking to export, and where you're planning to use the Markdown? That'll help me understand your feedback better.
We're not planning to bring back Markdown editor at the moment, but if there's specific syntax that isn't working for you, let me know and I'll pass it to our team.
