Filter/Sort toolbar icon - usually implemented as separate features; tooltip says just "Filter"

The filter button ("funnel") combines the filtering and sorting features. I know some apps combine these functions - some hotel booking sites do it. In my opinion, it's not the best way to do it as they are completely different and unrelated functions. It's not intuitive that a filter will also sort. I understand that if user testing confirmed this is a GOOD option in this case, then ok. I'd just be careful and ask 10 users to "SORT YOUR TASKS BY DUE DATE" and see if they can accomplish it. If they get confused and can't figure it out, then we've got a problem.

ALSO, the tooltip says "Filter", which definitely makes this confusing because it's really Filter/Sort. The tooltip should reflect that and say "Filter and Sort".
