It's very important to be able to configure a reminder for EACH task - the way Google Calendar does it. If my client meeting requires a 2-hr drive, I want a 4-hour reminder. If I need to pick up laundry downstairs, a 10-minute reminder is fine. If I have a meeting in Japan, I'll need a few days to prepare.
I think you know what I mean.
So it's very very important to make the reminder a property of each task, not a profile-level setting. They are completely dependent on each task. Every time you create a task, that's when you think about how much advance notice you need, and that's the best time to configure that reminder.
