Hi,
I've been a Todoist premium user for a long long time. The app/system is good.. but i've had my doubts with them in a lot of ways, unfortunately they have wasted too much time looking pretty instead of implementing fixes and adding new features. I like Quire's layout and design, but the thing that always always has me going back to Todoist is their Windows App, and the fact that you can minimize to tray. I hate the thought of opening up a tab on my browser (I'm a web developer btw, browser is always open) just to go through my tasks. Or worse, to have a full fledge window open all the time when I already have about 8-10 running most of the time. If you guys make a windows app (can be just a webview of the actual app) that works well like todoist, i will be on board 100%, including some sort of premium pricing. Now if you could add some sort of time tracking feature (or at least a place to put time in so we can figure out how long each task took) then that would be great too. It would be good to know you have it in your plans at least.
Thanks
Rolando Scott
Hi @sigma5530 , at this moment, having a desktop app hasn't move to our higher priority tasks yet. Would you please let us know the browser and OS version you are using? So our developer team could look into the reason why it's slow. Thank you for your help.

Hi Rolando, Thank you for the feedback and suggestion. Regarding the windows app, it's not currently in our plan. Our number one priority right now is to introduce a mobile app, and next, a chatroom. We may revisit this then. As for time tracking, this is something we've been giving thoughts to. I'll let you know if we come up with something.

with a combination of running Chrome in 'app mode'.. and using rbtray to get it to minimize to tray.. i can somewhat mimic the default windows app behavior of todoist.. obviously it's very hackish and not the best setup, but it'll do for now.. let me know if its in your guy's plan to create a real windows app

Hello @michelle-28 almost another year has passed. Can you give us an update on the status?

Hi Bram, here’s a new blog post for you, a workaround for creating a desktop app using the Google Chrome shortcut. 🎉

Hi Eva, a "timer" and "desktop app" will be available in the future. Let me know if these help!
Michelle, Nov 20, 2018
Hi Eva, it is not decided at the moment, but we will keep you posted! 😃

@peggy Creating a desktop app from the browser is what I'm using right now, but it's nowhere near a real app, it's slow
