Legacy customer records are clean enough to migrate without manual repair

We are assuming the 180,000 legacy customer records need no manual correction before migration.

Why it matters — the migration plan allows four days. Manual repair of even 3% of records would add three weeks and a data-entry budget nobody has approved.

How we will validate it — run a dry migration against a full production copy and count the failures.

Status — the dry run failed on 4% of records, so this assumption is now known to be false. It stays open only until I-04 has a remediation plan, then it gets closed. This is the worked example: an assumption that breaks does not just get ticked off, it becomes an issue.
