Regression test cycle was underestimated and will not fit the release window

Risk statement. The plan allows 5 working days for full regression. The last two releases needed 9 and 11 days respectively, and the suite has grown roughly 40% since. The estimate has not been revised.

Trigger / early warning. Regression pass on the current release candidate exceeding 6 days.

Consequence if realised. Either the release date moves, or the team ships with an incomplete regression pass and carries unknown defect risk into production.

Current response. Mitigate. Parallelise the suite and cut the manual pass by automating the top 40 recurring cases.
