Ordered the tracks for the roof! Just installed them -- ready for the bars. Just got to mount the panels to them now.

Van doesn't have factory install roof rails. Got a quote for Rhino roof racks and they said I'd also need rails installed... total cost for racks, rails and installation. just over $1,000?

How do they get fitted to the roof. I understand the expensive ones come with everything in a kit... but the cheap ones would probably do the job, if I knew how they lock on...

Got a second had set of Prorack bars off Gumtree. Then found another set, but Supercheap Auto has a special on and the prince being asked on Gumtree plus the fuel to pick them up would have been the same and getting a new set while on sale...
