📖 How to use this template

Meeting Agenda & Action Items helps you run meetings that actually lead somewhere: prepare an agenda, capture decisions, and turn them into trackable action items.

  1. Duplicate this project into your own organization (dropdown next to the project name, then Duplicate)
  2. Duplicate the sample meeting branch for each new meeting, rename it as YYYY-MM-DD | Meeting Name, and adjust the attendees and dates.
  3. Prepare before the meeting: collect agenda topics, review old action items, finalize the agenda, and share pre-read materials.
  4. Capture as you go: during the meeting, use the Meeting Notes Template to record notes, decisions, action items, and topics to save for later.
  5. Turn decisions into tasks: give each action item one assignee, a due date, and the Action-item tag so it shows up in the sublists.
  6. Follow through after the meeting: send the summary, confirm assignees and deadlines, and revisit deferred topics with the Open Action Items and Deferred Topics sublists.

The goal: meetings that don't fade away. Decisions get recorded, action items get assignees and deadlines, and postponed topics come back when they're ready.
