Hello, Thanks for adding the Kanban. Was wondering though, if you could maintain the hierarchy of tasks subtasks in the Kanban mode, same as what Freedcamp does. If you can do that, that will give your product a big lead over other tools out there.
My biggest concern is that if we have it flat, you will need a lot of boards for every task, and this will become unmanageable. we've seen this in Trello.
The way it is right now, it is good for an individual contributor(worker) but very unwieldy for say a manager who wants to have the higher level view of all the projects and what is happening.
This is the same problem we have in Trello, it is too flat, and you need one board to track one task and subtasks and you need too many boards to track all projects, it becomes a nightmare. Plus you don't get the global view, without having to create another board, and reattaching/relinking the boards to it. Double, triple your work.
We have introduced a new feature called Task Bundle, which allows you to group the subtasks under their parent tasks so the task hierarchy will be preserved as it is. Check out this blog post for more information! 😃
Note: This feature is only available for Professional, Premium and Enterprise subscription.

Hi Chc 225, Thank you for the suggestion. Would it help if we show the “breadcrumbs” (aka parent tasks, grand-parent tasks and so on) of tasks, like in the “Tasks” view after you sort/filter and press Ctrl (or Alt for Mac)? BTW, if you can provide us with a screenshot of how Freedcamp does it, that would be nice. 😃
