#1140: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed

Not sure how to create a dependency for a task, for example, one task requires another to be completed before beginning. I saw a tip (I think) displayed, but when I tried to use, the # sign gave me a tag reference, not a dependency for another task.

Hi Crystal, thanks for providing an alternative. The only issue here is that the syntax (#) overlaps with labels. Basically the meaning of # changes depending on if the user is editing the task title or the task description. This can get confusing.

Hi all,

Task dependency is already on our plan to develop in the future. However, due to the limited resources, it will take a while for the feature to be available. Stay tuned 😃

Hi Alindstrom, We do not have task dependencies at the moment. It is something we are considering along with Gantt chart. For now, you can type #taskname in a task description or comment to "link" to it.
