#1242: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed

The current behaviour puts subtasks into a different priority bracket regardless of the parent priority. Would be nice to have a better implementation here.

Hi Toqoz, Have you tried just adding the same priority to the subtasks? This way when you sort by Priority, they will appear in the same priority group as their parent task.

Hi Toqoz, You can press Ctrl (or Alt for Mac) to see the “connection” (relationship) between parent tasks and their subtasks after sort.

This works, but what if I want to have different priority subtasks? It seems strange that any task with a different priority from its parent loses any visible connection to it when sorting by priority.

That does help, thank you! Although I would still MUCH prefer the priority view to recursively sort parent tasks instead of treating each task (subtask or not) as an individual entity.
