#1533: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed

In a project with hierarchy, organization is key. Sometimes, an user can change tasks, add, delete, change a set date, etc. The project managers will of course be confused by that, constantly having to reverse changes.

In the project that I'm working on, we'd like to let normal users interact with their tasks (change status, comment, etc), provide comments on someone else's assigned task, but keep the option to add tasks, delete them, and change set dates to admins only. Is that possible?

Thanks.

Hi, Crystal. This does help, but some of the features I mentioned are still missing. Only having admins being able to create tasks and set their dates is important to the organization of the project. Is there any way to solve that?

Hi Roberto, Not at the moment. In the future, we will let users choose what permissions (rights) they want to give their members. The permissions should be more flexible then.

Hi Roberto, Have you considered giving them the Limited member role? Limited members can only make changes to tasks assigned to them (except delete) or those created by them, while still being able to comment in other tasks. Let me know if this helps.
