I have tried adding a member to an organization task and also adding them as outsourced. When I set them to limited they can't use the status feature to list the task as completed, but they are restricted from changing things like the date, etc (which I want). Why is there not an option to allow features like using the status option without giving them editing permissions of more sensitive features?
If this could be changed or just give us a customized feature where we can select what a set permission level can and cannot do that would be optimal!
Hello @peggy, what's the status of custom roles and more granular permission configuration, please? Because for our situation we need some kind of limited role for the users to be able only change the status and attachments of the tasks on which are assigned. Can we expect this feature in a near future, or it is something for you totally out of scope? Thank you

@pjreynolds - thank you for your feedback. I will let the team know about your suggestion. At the moment, users can not configure the permission's detail based on their choice.
When you have set the member to Limited, assign the task to that Limited member, then he/she will be able to change the task's status. However, he/she will also have the permission to change the assigned task's due date or assignee.
p.s. I've slightly edited the feedback title to make it easier for other users to find this thread and add their comments/votes here. Hope you don't mind.

Hi @marek-09 - Unfortunately, I don't have any update to share for this request at the moment. As far as I am aware, this request hasn't been prioritized by the team yet. I will bring your feedback to the team again and hopefully it will re-spark some discussion. Once I have update, I will keep you posted. Thank you for your patience.
