Sometimes happen a case, when a colleague is not online in a messenger but online in the quire, and I see a status that he is online.
It will be great to add a simple option to leave some short message to this colleague, and that this guy will receive notification that someone messages him or send some critical message what he must check asap.
For example: I click on my friend avatar in the quire which is online right now. I select a box: "send a short message". And write: "hey, please check what I wrote to you in our slack". And my friend will receive the notification instantly and will log in to slack.
Sometimes this is a very useful option for bumping some people which is close everything but need to contact with them impatiently.

Hi DrWho, Basically, you can leave them short messages in the comments area. And if you tag someone in the comments, he/she will receive a notification in the bell icon. E.g. for the important tasks, just leave a comments tagging your members. If the message you want to leave is not task-based, you can leave one at project level.
FYI, Quire can be integrated with Slack. So sometimes, you can work things the way around, meaning you can comments on tasks while you chat in Slack. See more here: https://quire.io/blog/p/Quire-and-Slack-work-great-together.html Hope this helps! 😃
