As I was searching for Wunderlist alternative and went through every possible option I thought Quire might be the answer. Still not decided but I guess it's closest to what I expect/need. I can't stand the ridiculous limitation within free versions of other alternatives or the lack of basic features. Quire seems reasonable but I feel this is more a company targeted than personal usage - life as such is not really a project but really a day to day tasks where some are repetitive and some are one off. I am still trying to figure this one out but here is my first feeling feedback.

Hi Peter, Thanks for the feedback! We try to keep the design simple, clean and easy to use. Basically, we have two main view for managing tasks, one is List, the other one is Kanban Board. I think for personal use, most users would focus more on the List view. You could jot down the day to day tasks you have to complete and simply complete them throughout the day, and for some repetitive chores, you could set them to repeat, so the tasks would turn up again even after you’ve completed them. We also support Nested Task view, meaning you would be able to see main tasks with subtasks within one page, it’s easier for you to organize the tasks. For more info on List and Board view, you could go here.
