#1691: Quire Feedback
Status: To-do
Hi there,
I would like to import tasks from Google Tasks (which is closing). In order to do this I created a textfile with one line per task and indents for hierarchy like this:
task1-title subtask1-title subtask2-title subsubtask1-title
Importing this works well for task-titles. Unfortunately I did not find a way to also import notes attached to the tasks.
If not already existing I would propose to extend the import function like this:
task1-title | task1-note
subtask1-title | subtask1-note
subtask2-title | subtask2-note
subsubtask1-title | subsubtask1-note
I would appreciate, if you could consider this or show an alternative solution to import task-notes.
Best Regards,
Frank

Hi Frank, thanks for your feedback. I suggest you could copy the tasks and their notes to a spreadsheet application, and then importing them for there. Quire could recognize columns called Name, Assignee, Tag, Start, Due, Priority, Status, Description, Parent and ID, in no particular order, and the cells below them. See how to do so here (# 3 in blog).
