Dear Quire, Let me start by saying that I like your software! I've recently started to use it, and somehow it just feels right. Thanks for your hard work!
Now, what I've found is that it looks as if the Favorite feature that you describe here #{Getting_Started_with_Quire/106} Favorite a task and here https://quire.io/blog/p/We-are-not-Facebook-So-why-Like.html, doesn't work as described anymore.
When I haven't assigned a task to myself (yet), but favorite it, I expect it to show up in My Tasks as described. However, it is only showing tasks assigned to me. Creating a Smart Folder allows me to create a workaround, because there it does show tasks Favorited by me (filter). However, I'm running into the 5 project limit on the Smart Folder.
Can you investigate?
Kind regards, Jonathan
Hi @jvalteren , sorry for the confusion. We have revamped our My Tasks a while ago.
Right now, what you will see in My Tasks: tasks that are assigned to you, created by you without assignees with start or due dates in any project and your personal tasks. Those tasks can belong to a specific project or just be the personal tasks without being assigned to a project.
You could assign your favorite tasks to yourself, then they will show up in My Tasks. Use the filter to filter out all the "Favorite by me" tasks.
p.s. we will update our Getting Started and blog post, thank you for letting us know.
